The Montenegro Capital Market Authority has delivered the first phase of an education programme on the Corporate Governance Code, aimed at helping companies whose shares are listed on the regulated market prepare for future regulatory requirements that are expected to become binding. The session combined direct engagement with experts from the authority and the Croatian Financial Services Supervisory Agency (Hanfa), focusing on transparency, publication of regulated information, accountability in the disclosure process, and supervisory and enforcement considerations. A second module addressed financial reporting topics, including accounting and auditing standards, current European practices and sustainability reporting requirements, supported by case studies and interactive discussion. Hanfa representatives Andreja Hašcek, Jelena Borić and Ema Zorić led the training. Further phases of the education cycle are planned for the coming months.
