UK Parliament’s Treasury Committee has published a second update from Lloyds Banking Group on the IT glitch that affected nearly half a million customers in March 2026, providing revised information on the incident’s reach and the remediation provided. The update reports a further GBP 62,000 of goodwill payments to 1,625 customers, taking total goodwill payments to GBP 201,000 across 5,250 people. For the first time, Lloyds also identifies 80,805 additional individuals who may have had their transactions shared because they are joint account holders of customers who logged in, alongside minor downward revisions to the previously reported totals for affected customers who logged on and those who clicked through to view other people’s transactions. The submission follows Lloyds’ initial assessment sent to MPs in March 2026.
