The British Columbia Securities Commission has alleged that David Lawrence Pazurik committed fraud under British Columbia’s Securities Act by raising money from investors through his sole proprietorship, Pazman Promotions, and using most of the funds for purposes unrelated to the investments. Between 2021 and 2022, Pazurik allegedly raised CAD 200,460 from 14 investors, telling them their money would be used to fulfil sales contracts for branded merchandise and that they would receive their principal plus a specified profit within a short period. The BCSC alleges that nearly 73 per cent of the funds, approximately CAD 146,000, was spent on unrelated items and expenses including gambling websites, personal expenses, and payments to friends and associates, and that promised returns were not fully paid. The allegations have not been proven. Pazurik or his counsel must appear at the BCSC’s offices on November 18, 2025 if he wishes to be heard before a hearing is scheduled.
