Taiwan’s Financial Services Commission published updated data showing domestic banks’ outstanding loans to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) totalled NT$10,932.4 billion at the end of February 2026, up NT$16.4 billion from end-January 2026. SME lending represented 63.67% of total loans to all enterprises and 67.18% of loans to private enterprises, down 0.87 and 0.83 percentage points respectively from end-January 2026. The average non-performing loan ratio for SME loans was 0.20% in February 2026, unchanged from end-January 2026.

The Taiwan Financial Services Commission reported that domestic banks’ outstanding loans to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) reached TWD 10,932.4 billion at end-February 2026, an increase of TWD 16.4 billion from end-January 2026. SME lending accounted for 63.67% of total enterprise loans and 67.18% of private enterprise loans, both slightly lower than in January, while the average non-performing loan ratio for SME loans remained unchanged at 0.20%.
