The Insurance and Private Pension Regulation and Supervision Agency of Türkiye published an account of consultations with the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye on issues affecting insurance agents and adjusters. The meeting reviewed the initial results of the Smart Adjuster Assignment System, which began operating nationwide on Aug. 1, 2026, to strengthen adjuster independence and improve claims processes. Participants also reviewed technological and regulatory measures to prevent unauthorized agency activity and discussed digitalization, unfair competition between agents and industry requests. They considered the agency’s work plan to restructure state-supported trade credit insurance end to end, with the aim of helping small and medium-sized enterprises manage collection risk and gain easier access to financing.
