HM Treasury has designated Blood and Honour under the Treasury-led Domestic Counter-Terrorism sanctions regime, imposing a full asset freeze on the grounds it has reasonable grounds to suspect the entity is involved in terrorist activities, including promoting and encouraging terrorism, recruitment, and making funds available for terrorist purposes. The action is described as the first use of this regime to target extreme right-wing terrorism. From 8 January 2025, all assets and economic resources in the UK belonging to, or owned or controlled by, Blood and Honour must be frozen, and persons required to comply with UK sanctions are prohibited from dealing with those funds or resources or making funds, financial services or economic resources available to or for the benefit of Blood and Honour unless licensed by HM Treasury or an exception applies. The designation is made under Regulation 5 and extends to all parts of Blood and Honour, including aliases such as 28 Radio and Combat 18, and applies in the UK, the UK Crown Dependencies and Overseas Territories; intentional circumvention is prohibited and the freeze does not change ownership of the frozen assets.
