The Bank of Lithuania released third-quarter 2025 international trade in services statistics, showing services exports of EUR 6.6 billion (up 13.3% year on year) and imports of EUR 3.9 billion (up 13.4%). The services balance recorded a EUR 2.7 billion surplus, equivalent to 12.1% of gross domestic product, representing a 13.1% year-on-year increase. Transport services accounted for the largest share of services trade, comprising 43.0% of exports and 44.7% of imports. The largest surplus was in road transport services (EUR 1.3 billion), while the largest deficit was in sea freight transport services (EUR 142.7 million). Services exports to European Union Member States rose 14.0% and represented 72.7% of total exports (up 0.5 percentage points), while imports from the EU increased 16.6% and made up 73.4% of total imports (up 2.0 percentage points). Germany remained the largest export partner (exports up 5.7%), with transport (52.3%) and travel (17.4%) the biggest components, while Poland was the largest import partner (imports up 6.5%), dominated by transport (68.9%) and travel (13.3%). The Bank also pointed to its online dashboard and external statistics pages, where users can access detailed services trade data and build automatically updated datasets via the My Data Sets tool.
