South Korea's Ministry of Economy and Finance is running a two week invitation training program from June 29 to July 10 for midlevel officials from the finance ministries and central banks of 13 Asian countries. The program is designed to share South Korea's economic and financial policy experience and deepen regional policy exchange and cooperation networks across ASEAN, Mongolia and Central Asia. The program has operated since 2006 as a flagship international cooperation initiative. This year's sessions will cover policy cases including capital market development and the digital budget and accounting system, with contributions from experts from academia, research institutes and public institutions. Participants will also visit major financial institutions and industrial sites, including the Korea Exchange and Toss Bank, and take part in exchanges with working-level officials.
