The Seychelles Financial Services Authority (FSA) issued a public warning about alleged unauthorised virtual asset activity linked to the website diwallet.net, which it says is allegedly operated by Z International Limited. The FSA stated that the company does not, and has never, held authorisation to operate under the Virtual Asset Service Providers Act, 2024. The notice adds that Z International Limited was previously incorporated under the International Business Companies Act but has since been struck off and dissolved as of 18 December 2024 and is therefore no longer a legal entity. The FSA reminded consumers to verify whether a virtual asset service provider or product is licensed and regulated in the jurisdiction from which it claims to operate, noting that the FSA publishes on its website the list of authorised non-bank financial services providers, including virtual asset services, as well as registrations of Initial Coin Offerings and Non-Fungible Tokens. It also encouraged the public to report suspected unlicensed or unauthorised VASP activity via a reporting form available on the FSA’s website.
