The Central Bank of Russia has published the business programme for the Cybersecurity in Finance Forum, outlining discussions on combating cyberfraud and strengthening the security of digital and payment technologies. The first day includes a plenary session, “Combating cyberfraud: towards a common goal”, with the participation of Bank of Russia Governor Elvira Nabiullina. The programme covers the results of measures taken to counter money thefts and possible further steps, alongside sessions on innovations in bank antifraud systems, countering deepfakes and money mule schemes, and cooperation between banks and telecom operators. It also includes discussions on import substitution in the financial sector, security issues related to the digital ruble and Open APIs, the use of biometrics by microfinance organisations, and international coordination in combating cyberfraud, across more than 30 sessions. The forum will take place in Yekaterinburg on 18–20 February 2026.
