The Capital Markets Board of Türkiye outlined its delivery of financial literacy training for university students under the Turkish Employment Agency (ISKUR) Youth Program, following a protocol signed between the two institutions on 10 July 2024. The first pilot was carried out at Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University, where students received a comprehensive financial literacy course. Under the pilot, the training was made available to 1,150 students registered in the ISKUR Youth Program at the university, which has more than 30,000 students overall. The initiative was positioned alongside the Board’s existing “Finance High School” and “Finance Academy” projects and other trainings delivered through protocols with public institutions, aimed at supporting more informed economic choices and better risk awareness. The update also referenced Presidential Circular No. 2025/9, which designated 22 May as “Financial Literacy Day” and framed the promotion of financial awareness as a state policy. The Board indicated it will continue extending financial literacy education to young people across Türkiye.
