The India International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA) and Taiwan’s Financial Supervisory Commission (FSC) have entered into a memorandum of understanding to formalise regulatory cooperation in areas of mutual interest. The MoU was virtually exchanged and operationalised on 3 December 2025 as part of the 18th India–Taiwan Economic Consultations. The framework provides for information sharing on recent trends and best practices in financial market development and in regulatory and business structures, and cooperation to promote the fitness and properness of licensed or registered persons and high standards of fair dealing and integrity. It also supports assistance in enforcing laws, rules and regulations governing financial products, financial services and financial institutions, and includes exchanges on the application of technologies, innovation, financial technology and regulatory technology in both jurisdictions.
