The Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority (Finansinspektionen) has published median fee levels for selected popular fund categories as a consumer comparison metric, following its survey finding that one in three consumers find it difficult to understand what their fund saving costs. For the second quarter of 2025, the median fee was 1.30% for actively managed Sweden equity funds, 0.25% for Sweden index funds, 1.30% for actively managed global equity funds and 0.35% for global index funds. The authority pointed consumers to fund fact sheets for information on fees, fund objectives, other charges and historical returns, and said fee differences can materially affect long-term savings. The figures draw on a survey conducted with Origo Group among more than 1,000 Swedes in May 2025.
