The Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority (Finansinspektionen) published its quarterly median-fee figures for selected popular fund categories to give fund savers a simple benchmark for comparing what they pay in fund charges. For the third quarter of 2025, the median fee was 1.30% for actively managed Sweden equity funds, 0.20% for Sweden index funds, 1.30% for actively managed global equity funds and 0.35% for global index funds. FI cited survey findings that two in five Swedes find it difficult to understand their total fund fees, and illustrated the long-term impact of costs by estimating that saving SEK 2,000 per month for 30 years in a fund charging 1.3% rather than 0.35% would amount to a difference of around SEK 229,168. FI indicated it will continue publishing these median-fee statistics each quarter.
