The Isle of Man Financial Services Authority released its July 2025 stakeholder update, bringing together current policy work, supervisory priorities and recent guidance. The bulletin includes an introduction from Chief Executive Officer Bettina Roth, explains how stakeholders can respond to public consultations, and flags changes intended to boost the competitiveness of the insurance sector, alongside newly published guidance on Sustainable Finance and a guide to Commercially Exposed Persons. It also sets out the Authority’s two-year supervisory engagement programmes and its work to improve regulatory effectiveness through data, noting a strong response from trust and corporate service providers to the Legal Persons and Arrangements data request. Other items include progress on the Island’s National Risk Assessment, an update to the AML/CFT Handbook, a note that responses to the LCR discussion paper are being reviewed, and the Authority’s contribution to a global fintech event. Looking ahead, the bulletin signals a busy autumn outreach programme, starting with the Countering Financial Crime Conference on 3 September 2025.
