The Australian Securities & Investments Commission has published the results of the 33rd Financial Advisers Exam cycle, held in June 2026. A total of 209 candidates sat the exam, including 137 first-time candidates. Overall, 150 candidates passed, giving a 71.7% pass rate, while 104 first-time candidates passed, equivalent to 75.9%. The exam was conducted by the Australian Council for Educational Research under a process intended to test all candidates to the same standards. Candidates receive a pass or fail result under the Corporations Relevant Providers Education and Training Standards Determination 2021, and unsuccessful candidates will receive general feedback from ACER on the areas where they underperformed. Across all exam cycles to date, 22,748 individual candidates have sat the exam and 21,113 have passed, a cumulative pass rate of 92.8%. The next exam is scheduled for 20 August 2026.
