Indonesia's Financial Services Authority (OJK) announced a collaboration with the Indonesian Women's Congress (KOWANI) to strengthen public financial literacy, with a focus on women and housewives as priority target groups under the National Strategy for Financial Literacy Indonesia (SNLKI) 2021-2025. The partnership includes a Training of Trainers programme under OJK Penggerak Duta Literasi Keuangan Indonesia (OJK PEDULI) to equip KOWANI members to deliver financial education in their communities. The hybrid training, hosted at OJK's Jakarta office and online, reached 1,100 KOWANI members across Indonesia (100 in person and 1,000 online) and was attended by KOWANI leadership and the Indonesian Mutual Fund and Investment Association (APRDI). The agenda covered an introduction to OJK, warnings on online lending and illegal investments, personal and household financial management, and an overview of mutual fund products and other financial services.
