The China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) and New Zealand’s Financial Markets Authority (FMA) updated and re-signed their memorandum of understanding on securities and futures regulatory cooperation in Auckland, replacing the 2004 arrangement. The updated MoU is intended to support capital market development and cross-border cooperation needs, and is framed as marking a new stage in cooperation between the two regulators. CSRC noted it has now signed bilateral supervisory cooperation MoUs with securities and futures regulators in 67 countries and regions to facilitate cross-border supervisory and enforcement cooperation.
