The China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) held a Beijing roundtable chaired by Wu Qing with major institutional investors to gather input for setting capital market development objectives and policy measures for the 15th Five-Year Plan period. Representatives from the National Social Security Fund, insurance asset managers, public and private fund managers, and bank wealth management firms pointed to progress on a “Chinese-characteristics” market stabilisation mechanism, encouraging medium- and long-term funds to enter the market, and improving investor returns. The exchange also collected proposals on further deepening investment-side reforms, improving the inclusiveness and adaptability of market制度 arrangements, and strengthening the capital market’s intrinsic stability, alongside feedback on CSRC-wide learning and education on establishing and practising a correct view of performance assessment.
