The Central Bank of Peru published data showing the value of Peru’s non-traditional agricultural exports reached USD 823 million in February, a 23.8% increase year on year, alongside a 29.5% rise in average export volumes. Volume growth was driven by a 157.5% increase in fresh grape exports, attributed to a longer export season, and a 100.0% increase in fresh mango exports following a recovery from 2023 climatic anomalies. Over January–February, non-traditional agricultural exports totalled USD 2,068 million, up 26.4% from USD 1,635 million a year earlier, with higher volumes cited as the main driver.
