The Norwegian Financial Supervisory Authority has released its reports from the supervisory areas for 2025, summarising the main features of its oversight of financial-sector firms and markets in the preceding year and the work completed across supervision, analysis, licensing cases and regulatory development. The reports also outline the purpose of supervision and cover administrative tasks, guidance and cooperation. One of the reports addresses cross-cutting themes, including monitoring risks in the Norwegian and international economy, measures against money laundering, European cooperation, the regulation and supervision of crypto, digital resilience in the financial industry and the regulatory sandbox. The authority will publish its 2025 annual report in April/May, covering key figures and facts about its activities, achievement of supervisory objectives, governance and control, and the annual accounts.
