The Guernsey Financial Services Commission has provided an update on its previously announced AI readiness session, which will examine the practical foundations organisations need to move from experimentation to wider adoption. The event, Data Readiness for AI: Are organisations ready?, will take place on 29 October from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Commission’s Regency Court offices as part of All-In, Guernsey’s first island-wide AI Sprint. The discussion will focus on data quality, supporting systems and processes, organisational skills and culture, and robust risk management rather than individual AI tools. It is intended to help organisations assess their existing foundations and identify practical steps needed for broader use. Katherine Jane, the Commission’s deputy director general for risk and operations, will moderate the panel, with Conor Osborough, director of technology, among the participants.
