The Bermuda Ministry of Finance published the outcome statement from a Sept. 8-12 meeting of Caribbean Overseas Territories leaders hosted by Premier David Burt in his capacity as president of the United Kingdom Overseas Territories Association Political Council. The discussions covered economic and financial services resilience, climate and disaster preparedness, regional cooperation and citizen wellbeing. The meeting brought together leaders from Anguilla, the British Virgin Islands, the Cayman Islands, Montserrat and the Turks and Caicos Islands ahead of the Pre-Joint Ministerial Council Meetings scheduled for November.
