The Australian Securities & Investments Commission has published its 2024-25 industry funding dashboard setting out actual regulatory costs by sector and subsector, alongside the variances between estimated and actual costs for subsectors under its industry funding model. The publication meets a reporting requirement under section 138 of the Australian Securities and Investments Commission Act 2001. Estimated costs for 2024-25 were set out in the 2024-25 Cost Recovery Implementation Statement released on 3 July 2025, while the final industry funding levies based on actual regulatory costs by subsector were published on 5 November 2025 to provide early visibility once amounts were finalised. Cost differences reflect how ASIC directs regulatory effort and resources based on its Corporate Plan priorities and its assessment of risks across regulated industries, which can make levies hard to predict and variable over time. Around 40,000 levy invoices will be issued to entities between January and March 2026.
