The Croatian Financial Services Supervisory Agency has launched a consultation on its final proposal for an accepted market practice on the Zagreb Stock Exchange. The framework would permit activities supporting the liquidity of financial instruments under the Market Abuse Regulation, subject to defined rules, transparency requirements and regulatory oversight. The proposal is intended to improve liquidity and price formation and make Croatia’s capital market more attractive to issuers and investors. It follows workshops, meetings and consultations with investment firms, issuers, the Zagreb Stock Exchange and other market participants, building on the agency’s recent industry discussions about measures to develop the domestic capital market.
