The Capital Markets Board of Türkiye hosted the 14th annual meeting of the COMCEC Capital Market Regulators Forum, which it chairs and serves as secretariat for, holding the session online on 15 October 2025. Regulatory representatives from COMCEC member states participated alongside Borsa İstanbul, the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye and the COMCEC Coordination Office. The forum reviewed task force work on developing Islamic capital markets, sustainability initiatives among members, financial literacy, sukuk market development and the regulation of crypto service providers. Members also received an update on the GEFAS Platform, a Real Estate-Based and Emerging Financial Instruments Information System opened to the public on 16 September 2022, and were invited to contribute to its further development.
