The Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco has announced new appointments and reappointments to its Economic Advisory Council (EAC), alongside the re-designation of its chair, effective 1 January 2026. Scott Gatzemeier, corporate vice president, front end U.S. expansion at Micron Technology (Boise, Idaho), and David E. Whitehead, president of Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, Inc. (Pullman, Washington), join as new members. Krystal Burge, co-founder of Desert de Oro Foods, Inc. (Kingman, Arizona), and Patrick Duke, senior vice president and chief executive officer of Doyon Limited (Anchorage, Alaska), were reappointed for a second term. Garrett Lofto, president and chief executive officer of J.R. Simplot Company (Boise, Idaho), was re-designated to serve as EAC chair in 2026. The Twelfth District EAC provides observations, opinions, and advice on current and pending economic developments to the Bank’s boards of directors and senior leadership, drawing members from across the Reserve Bank’s nine-state District.
