The Australian Prudential Regulation Authority has launched a consultation on proposals to replace the non-confidentiality determination that supports publication of aggregated statistics from the National Claims and Policies Database and to refresh the format used for those publications. The proposal also reflects APRA’s intention to publish cyber insurance and management liability data as separate product classes going forward. The consultation paper covers both the basis for publishing aggregated NCPD statistics and the proposed revised publication format. Submissions are due by 16 June 2026.
