The Federal Reserve Board announced it will hold a hybrid public outreach meeting on March 26, 2026, as part of its review of Board regulations under the Economic Growth and Regulatory Paperwork Reduction Act (EGRPRA). The EGRPRA process requires the Board, with public input, to review its regulations at least once every 10 years to identify requirements for certain supervised institutions that are outdated, unduly burdensome, or otherwise unnecessary. The meeting will invite stakeholder views on regulatory categories covered by four Federal Register notices applicable to Board-supervised institutions, spanning areas including applications and reporting, powers and activities, international operations, consumer protection, money laundering, safety and soundness, securities, capital, and the Community Reinvestment Act. The session will be held at the Federal Reserve Board building in Washington, D.C., and will be livestreamed. Individuals seeking to provide oral comments, either in person or virtually, must register by March 19, 2026, and identify the regulatory category or categories they plan to address, with selected commenters to be notified. Advance registration is also required for in-person observers.
