The Central Bank of Brunei Darussalam (BDCB) participated in Brunei Darussalam’s 35th Teachers’ Day celebration at the International Convention Centre, Berakas, using its booth to showcase its financial literacy initiatives, including Centsibly: Smart Money Habits and the recently launched Usinwise national financial literacy campaign brand. His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah and members of the royal family visited BDCB’s booth and were briefed by BDCB’s Managing Director and senior management, alongside representatives from the Ministry of Education and students. Centsibly, jointly developed with the Ministry of Education, is presented as a structured teaching resource built on the Brunei Darussalam Financial Literacy Competency Frameworks for School Children and Adults, covering topics including budgeting, saving, debt, takaful and insurance, retirement planning, consumer protection, and digital and sustainable financial literacy. The booth also highlighted Usinwise as the official brand for national financial literacy campaigns under the National Financial Literacy Council.
