The Central Bank of Curaçao and Sint Maarten announced that it will launch its third stakeholder survey during the week of March 7, 2025 to assess how supervised institutions and other stakeholders view the Bank’s performance and communications, and which issues they consider most important. The survey will be conducted by research agency RE‑Quest and targets supervised institutions, regulators, interest groups, government agencies, universities, media and other stakeholders. It builds on the 2022 survey, which highlighted priorities including strengthening supervision, addressing issues at Girobank and ENNIA, improving response times and enhancing communication. The 2025 survey also asks about the Bank’s communication regarding the introduction of the new currency, the Caribbean guilder, and results will be processed at group level to keep individual responses confidential. Once the survey is completed and analysed, the Central Bank intends to share the key findings with the public.
