The Agency for Regulation and Development of the Financial Market of the Republic of Kazakhstan has developed a draft resolution to set the terms and conditions for granting permits to the operator of an electronic trading platform selling banking and microfinance assets, alongside amendments to its 31 July 2024 Resolution No. 47. The changes are intended to align the Agency’s subordinate regulatory act with Kazakhstan’s legislation, including the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan On Public Services. The draft was prepared following the inclusion in the Register of Public Services of the procedure for permitting the activities of the operator of an electronic trading platform selling banking and microfinance services. The project aligns the relevant norms with the current framework governing the provision of public services and includes editorial and technical amendments. The full draft text is available on the Open NCA portal and on the Agency’s website.
