The Brazilian Pension Funds Authority (PREVIC) announced that its next Conexões PREVIC seminar will explain the new licensing procedures for closed private pension entities (EFPC) set out in PREVIC Resolution 26/2025. The live virtual event will be streamed on PREVIC’s YouTube channel on 10 April at 10:00. PREVIC technical staff will walk through the main updates to pension fund licensing, with Érika Palma, president of OABPREV-SP, joining as guest. The agenda includes changes to registration data, the adhesion agreement, criteria for determining relevant dates, interviews for authorisation, the minimum lead time for prior authorisation requests submitted to PREVIC, appointment of an attorney for EFPC wind-down, participation of interested parties in licensing processes, and the registration of plan offerings and management transfers. A Q&A session will follow the presentations. Questions can be submitted in advance via PREVIC’s question box until 23:59 on 8 April, after which questions will be taken exclusively via the YouTube chat during the broadcast.
