The Turks and Caicos Islands Financial Services Commission published a release on a visit by senior leadership from its Providenciales office to the Marion Williams Special Needs Association of Providenciales (SNAP) Centre in Kew Town, where it donated essential nutritional items to support students’ daily meals and care. The visit also included a needs-based assessment aimed at identifying potential areas for longer-term collaboration with the centre. The FSC delegation included Acting Managing Director Kenisha Bacchus, Director of Human Resources and Administration Camardia Higgs, Communications Advisor Courtney Robinson, and Administrative Assistant Alidavidson Higgs, who met with the principal, educators, and students and toured the facility. The government-funded SNAP Centre has operated for over 35 years and serves approximately 30 students aged 5 to 20, providing specialised intellectual and life-skills training and therapeutic support including speech, occupational, and behavioural therapy, alongside inclusive education programmes. The FSC indicated it intends to explore sustainable ways to partner with SNAP going forward while continuing its financial services oversight mandate across the Turks and Caicos Islands.
