The Brazilian Pension Funds Authority (PREVIC) announced a five-session online seminar series, Conexões PREVIC, to explain in detail the amendments and enhancements to Resolution PREVIC 23/2023, updated in December 2025 by Resolution PREVIC 26/2025. The series is positioned as a practical briefing for closed supplementary pension entities (EFPC) ahead of PREVIC’s supervision of the revised requirements. The webinars will be streamed weekly at 10:00 on PREVIC’s YouTube channel on 6, 13, 20 and 27 March, with a final session on 10 April. Each session focuses on a dedicated theme: integrity and diversity (including changes to Article 13-A), governance, communication and transparency (including actuarial audit and opinions, participant communications, budgets, real estate and explanatory notes), supervision (Annual Supervision Plan, terms of adjustment and criteria for special regimes), ESG and investments (including adaptation to National Monetary Council Resolution 5,202 and Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission Resolution 175 and related sustainability materiality and disclosure topics), and new licensing procedures (including registrations, adhesion agreements, criteria for dates, fit-and-proper interviews, minimum lead times for prior authorisation requests, appointment of an attorney to close an EFPC, participation of interested parties in licensing, and registrations for plan offerings and management transfers). Each session will include a Q&A block and feature invited sector representatives and specialists.
