The China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission’s Party secretary and director, Li Yunze, carried out a field visit to the Tibet Autonomous Region, focusing on how financial services can support Tibet’s high-quality development, improve financing for major engineering projects, and strengthen coordination between central and local supervision. During the trip, Li visited the Sichuan–Tibet Railway project and a national modern agriculture demonstration zone, and met with local enterprises including Ganlu Tibetan Medicine and Gaochi Technology. He urged banking and insurance institutions to tailor financial supply to Tibet’s conditions, improve service quality, support major project construction and the development of distinctive local industries, advance the agenda of the financial “five major articles”, and effectively prevent and control financial risks. He also visited local financial supervision offices, calling for deeper implementation of the Central Committee’s eight-point rules education, sustained strict discipline, stronger support for frontline staff, and use of the “Four New” project consolidation and enhancement year action to raise supervisory effectiveness.
