The Bank of France announced the signature of a national agreement with France Travail to strengthen the financial skills of people seeking work, formalising France Travail’s integration into France’s national economic, budgetary and financial education strategy, EDUCFI. The partnership aims to deploy closer cooperation nationwide to promote jobseekers’ budget and financial autonomy, particularly for people facing economic vulnerability, support entrepreneurial project holders, and disseminate financial education resources to both professionals and users. Planned actions include promoting EDUCFI resources via mesquestionsdargent.fr, mesquestionsdentrepreneur.fr and ABC de l’économie, co-producing and distributing tailored teaching materials through the France Travail Academy and EDUCFI sites, rolling out educational games including “Mes Questions d’Argent” and “#Aventure Entrepreneur”, running regular webinars on financial precarity, entrepreneurship and economic fundamentals, and joint mobilisation around annual events such as Financial Education Week and Re-Start. The release cited 2025 figures showing over 760,000 jobseekers reporting a personal constraint linked to financial difficulties and one million France Travail registrants engaged in an entrepreneurial project.
