The National Bank of the Republic of Tajikistan has developed a digital platform for the pilot taxation project for individual entrepreneurs and will place it in a technical test environment for three months beginning in September 2026. The work advances the previously outlined pilot regime, which is intended to simplify tax procedures, reduce administrative burdens and increase the digitization and transparency of payments. The central bank, as system operator, is implementing information integration in stages with the Innovation and Digital Technology Agency, the tax authorities and financial credit institutions. Testing will assess data processing and exchange, integration stability, system security and the technical readiness of all participants. Full implementation will follow only after a comprehensive assessment of the test results and readiness, with launch timing and operating procedures to be announced separately.
