The Brazil Securities Commission (CVM), through its Superintendence of Corporate Relations (SEP), published a notice naming seven listed companies deemed delinquent for failing to submit at least one periodic filing to the regulator for a period of at least three months. The notice covers missing submissions of the Standardised Financial Statements Form (DFP), Quarterly Information Form (ITR) and/or Reference Form (FRE), where the delivery deadline was prior to 2 October 2024. The listed issuers are 2W ECOBANK S.A., ARGO ENERGIA EMPREENDIMENTOS E PARTICIPAÇÕES S.A., BBM LOGÍSTICA S.A., CARAMURU ALIMENTOS S.A., CIA TECIDOS SANTANENSE (under judicial reorganisation), SANESALTO SANEAMENTO S.A. and UNIGEL PARTICIPAÇÕES S.A. SEP also warned investors and the public to consider the disclosed delinquency in dealings with the companies and in investment decisions, noting that under Article 57 of CVM Resolution 80 SEP must suspend an issuer’s registration if periodic obligations remain unmet for more than 12 months; the notice excludes companies recorded by CVM as bankrupt or in liquidation, as well as those whose registration is already suspended under the same resolution.
