The Agency for Regulation and Development of the Financial Market of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Sultanate of Oman’s Financial Services Authority (FSA) signed a memorandum of understanding at Astana Finance Days to deepen bilateral cooperation between the two financial regulators. The MoU envisages collaboration on financial technologies, innovative projects, financial education, and measures to increase financial inclusion, including joint initiatives to develop financial market infrastructure using modern technologies. It also places particular emphasis on supporting and developing the Tabadul platform, aimed at strengthening links between regional exchanges and facilitating cross-border trading. The signing ceremony was attended by the Agency’s Chair, Madina Abylkassymova, and the FSA’s Executive President, Abdullah Salim Al-Salmi, with the FSA described as responsible for regulation and supervision of capital markets, the insurance sector, and accounting and auditing activities.
