The Central Bank of Peru published data showing that non-traditional exports increased 10.7% year on year in October 2025 to USD 2,332 million, with all sectors expanding and the strongest contributions coming from fishery, agricultural and non-metallic mining products. Lower export prices in the agricultural and non-metallic mining sectors partially offset the October increase. By destination, sales of non-traditional products rose to all major markets except the United States, with growth in shipments to China driven by agricultural and fishery products, to Latin America by agricultural and iron and steel products, to Asia excluding China by fishery products, and to Europe by agricultural products. From January to October, non-traditional exports totalled USD 18,725 million, up 16.3% from the same period in 2024, reflecting a 20.6% increase in export volumes led by fishery (50.4%) and agricultural products (29.2%).
