The Capital Market Authority of Rwanda, working with the Rwanda Stock Exchange and other partners, highlighted its Capital Market Investment Clinic and related market-development efforts to help small and medium-sized enterprises access sustainable financing through Rwanda’s capital markets, as part of the Rwanda Stock Exchange Listings Forum. The Authority positioned itself as both regulator and market enabler, pointing to reforms to support business operations while maintaining governance expectations for investor trust and market stability. The Investment Clinic was presented as a practical support channel for prospective issuers to meet governance standards, manage disclosure of price-sensitive information and build investor confidence. The Rwanda Stock Exchange emphasised listing as a route to long-term funding and enhanced credibility for SMEs, while the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning encouraged broader participation in future forums and initiatives; Luxembourg’s embassy reiterated support focused on market infrastructure, investor education and expanding access to finance.
