China's National Financial Regulatory Administration issued a notice, following broad consultation, repealing 32 normative regulatory documents and declaring a further 16 to be invalid. The latest action forms part of a three-batch clean-up conducted during the year, which in total repealed 120 normative regulatory documents and declared 33 invalid. The authority cited reasons including provisions being superseded by newer rules, misalignment with supervisory practice, and the conclusion of phased work. The National Financial Regulatory Administration said it will continue to focus on coherence and consistency across the regulatory framework and will manage normative regulatory documents in line with established procedures.
