The Bank of Italy has published an online compendium of national and European laws and regulations covering the protection of banking and financial customers, the rights and obligations of parties in payment services transactions, and alternative dispute resolution. The compendium is fully searchable, organised by topic, and includes brief descriptions of each instrument. It will be kept up to date and is intended to make the relevant legal framework more easily accessible, in line with the consumer protection policies set out in the Bank of Italy’s Strategic Plan. The compendium is available only in Italian.
