PCE excluding food and energy was 3.2 percent over 12 months and 3.6 percent annualized for the month. The Trimmed Mean PCE is an alternative measure of core inflation in the PCE price index and is calculated by the Dallas Fed using Bureau of Economic Analysis data. The next release is scheduled for May 28.
