The Reserve Bank of Fiji and HFC Bank have renewed their partnership for the second year of the Fiji Innovation Hub, with the bank providing FJD 50,000 to support entrepreneurship, startup development and financial inclusion. HFC Bank was the first commercial bank and private sector organization to support the initiative, which recently completed its pilot year and is expanding its partner network and programming. The sponsorship will fund the Certificate of Applied Innovation, Uni Hackathon, the second Activator cohort, Startup World Cup and Fiji Fintech Festival. It will also strengthen mentoring, networking and other support for early stage ventures seeking to turn locally relevant ideas into viable businesses.
