The Namibia Financial Institutions Supervisory Authority has opened a formal consultation on subordinate legislation issued under the Financial Institutions and Markets Act No. 2 of 2021. The consultation is directed at parties affected by the act’s implementation and covers the recently gazetted measures now made available on the authority’s website. The subordinate legislation was published in Government Gazette No. 8946 through General Notice No. 391 dated 15 June 2026. Stakeholders are invited to review the measures and submit comments using the prescribed template by 22 July 2026.
