The Mauritius Financial Services Commission has completed a review of fees for registered, authorised and approved persons and implemented the changes through amendments to the Financial Services Consolidated Licensing and Fees Rules. The amended rules were gazetted on 30 June 2026 and took effect on 1 July 2026. The commission also reminded licensees that the deadline for paying annual licence fees has been extended to 30 September 2026. From 1 July 2026, licensees can pay their annual fees through the FSC One Platform using Automatic Payment Instruction, including fees for clients that are also FSC licensees. Management companies with deposit accounts at the commission can pay from those accounts. If licensees are unable to renew through the platform by 30 September 2026, the commission will allow renewal through an alternative process requiring funds to be transferred to the relevant FSC bank account by that date and a corresponding list of payments to be submitted to the FSC. The circular also asks insurance companies to bring the update to the attention of intermediaries working with them.
