The Bank of France has launched the Climate Change Adaptation Diagnostic Tool (ODACC), a free online service designed to help French companies identify their current and future exposure to climate hazards and support business adaptation planning. The tool is available through the Bank of France’s Espace Dirigeant portal. ODACC forms part of France’s National Climate Change Adaptation Plan (PNACC) as measure 41 and is built on granular data from Météo-France that the Bank of France has consolidated and synthesised for business users. It provides views across six major hazards (heat, cold, precipitation, drought, wildfire and wind) for the current climate and three warming horizons (2030 at +2°C, 2050 at +2.7°C and 2100 at +4°C), with projections aligned to the TRACC reference trajectory. Key features include an interactive map of metropolitan France and Corsica (8 km by 8 km grid) showing a firm’s establishments and a site-by-hazard table that displays changes over time alongside a five-level criticality index (low to critical), supplemented by explanatory content and links to adaptation resources such as ADEME sector guides.
