The Bank for International Settlements Innovation Hub has set out Project Nadim, which explores a new approach for sharing information on fraud patterns identified through local transaction data analytics across international borders to support collaborative financial crime detection. The initiative focuses on fraud and aims to create and test a proof of concept for enhanced cross-border financial crime detection, reflecting the multi-jurisdictional nature of activities such as money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud and scams and the need for information sharing to help dismantle complex networks.
